PLEASE READ THE FULL PRE-PROCEDURAL INSTRUCTIONS AND BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT ACCORDINGLY.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

PERMANENT MAKEUP IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE/ARE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Actively positive with COVID 19 or have been in contact with someone who has been tested positive recently

• If you are pregnant/breast feeding (at risk and sensitive due to change in hormones)

• If you are under the age of 18

• If you have any active cold sores, shingles. skin rashes, sun burns, acne, ezcema, psoriasis, blemishes, lesions / undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the area of the procedure

• If you have deep wrinkles in the brow area (may give brows an uneven look)

• If you have had facial surgery in the last 4 months

• If you recently got any Botox/Fillers done within 5 weeks

• If you have active cold sores or history of cold sores (MUST see doctor to get prescribed antiviral herpes medication a week prior to appointment)

• If you are diabetic (will not heal properly) - must provide doctor written consent

• If you have been taking Accutane within the last 12 months (extremely sensitive & thin skin)

• If you take blood thinning medication (increased bleeding which prevents pigment deposit)

• If you have any autoimmune disorders

• If you have epilepsy (seizures or fainting)

• If you use retinol/retinoids (VITAMIN A) - must be off atleast for 4-5 weeks

• If you have any skin allergies to pigmentation or makeup

• If you have skin cancer

• If you are suffering from bleeding disorder such as hemophilia or have healing disorders

• If you have a pacemarker or have major heart problems

• If you are undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy

• If you are taking steroid medication

• If you are allergic to Lidocaine, Prilocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine and Epinephrine in a cream or gel form are typically used as anesthesia/numbing

If you do not clear all of the qualifications mentioned above,please DO NOT book an appointment. Inquire with your doctor first. If you arrive to the appointment with any of the contraindications, the service will be subjected to a cancellation and forfeiting your booking fee. We have the right to refuse service.

45 Days Prior

Avoid any fillers or botox injections in the brows/forehead/temple if you are getting your eyebrows done.

Avoid any chin/cheek/lip fillers if you are getting lip blush done.

No laser / chemical treatments

2 -3 Weeks Prior

Stop any facials or using any exfoliating skincare actives like Retinol, Tretinoin, AHA/BHA.

Avoid tinting/henna/lamination/threading for brows. The more natural hair growth the better the results!

1 Week Prior

Avoid tanning or sun exposure. We cannot work on sunburned or irritated skin.

Lip Blush: Gently exfoliate and keep your lips moisturized. Drink lots of water

(can use coconut oil + sugar with a toothbrush to gently exfoliate in the shower)

Taking an antiviral medication before a lip procedure is optional but recommended. Even if you have no history of cold sores, the Herpes Simplex Virus may still be present in your body in an inactive form. A lip procedure could potentially trigger an outbreak.

If you choose to take antiviral medication, inform your physician that you are having permanent cosmetics applied to your lips. Follow their instructions and take the medication as prescribed.

24 Hours Prior

Avoid blood thinners like Aspirin, Advil, caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks), alcohol, smoking, Advil, fish oil, etc.

Tylenol can be taken if you have a very low pain tolerance.

During Your Menstrual Cycle 🩸

Be aware that you may experience increased sensitivity due to hormonal changes. If you can avoid booking any service during this time of the month.

Caffeine & Alcohol ☕

Caffeine and alcohol can lead to excessive bleeding and heightened sensitivity. Not following this guideline may result in your appointment being canceled or rescheduled, with additional charges applied.

You may drink caffeine after your appointment.
